About NCAD

An initiative of Reach University, NCAD provides the playbook and resources for employers, state agencies, and the nation’s institutions of higher education to deploy their own Apprenticeship Degrees.

Capacity Building-1
Membership Community

The Apprenticeship Degree Network (ADNet) is a dynamic, cohort-based leadership community designed to foster collective innovation, collaboration, and transformation in U.S. higher education and workforce training.

Knowledge
Knowledge Sharing

We are building a national repository of resources, reports, and case studies to scale technical assistance and support the growth of Apprenticeship Degrees across the country.

What our partners are saying

We’ve been fortunate to have some wonderful partnerships and collaboration with an Opportunity Now grant in Colorado with CareerWise Colorado, and also Reach University and the National Center for Apprenticeship Degree (NCAD). So we feel like we have all the right people at the table to build an exceptional program.

If you are serious about bringing or expanding the apprenticeship degree to your educational institution, I don’t see how you can do it without the support and insight ADNet brings. I can’t imagine doing this work without NCAD and ADNet in our corner.

Launching the Tennessee Grow Your Own Center has been mostly exciting but also uncertain, so it was a gift to connect with like-minded colleagues through the apprenticeship degree network. ADN is welcoming, solutions-oriented, and focused on creating opportunity for all.

We can no longer perpetuate a system that forces individuals to choose between a degree and a job. NCAD helps us to advance a new model that keeps the student and employer at the center of it!

In reflecting on our Year 1 Outcomes from Talent Together, so much of which would not have been possible without you and your NCAD team. The pipeline for apprentices is REAL here in Michigan – the numbers are truly exciting, including over 1,350 teachers added to the educator workforce pipeline.
